Here on the Land Lab we offer animal handling skills and agricultural learning. We teach our students by hands on learning, with the animals. We have a larger variety of animals such as cows, pigs, sheep, ect. Scroll down to meet the animals!

20160426_094730.jpg  20160422_100632.jpg    Charlie is a very energetic farm dog. His favorite hobbies are barking at random things and herding the students around the farm. Charlie is always their with the students and staff wanting to be apart of what is going on. He is a very nosy dog but fun to have around!

On the Land Lab we have a variety of cow breeds. The cows can be very tolerant of the students learning the proper handling skills and veterinary skills.     20160122_101919.jpg  20160420_103450.jpg  20160426_094359.jpg

The Chickens on the land lab are used for their eggs. The chicken breed we have on the land lab are white leghorns, we usually get 5-7 eggs a day. Egg production can vary based on molting and sunlight. On the land lab we use our laying hens to teach student about proper handling and to help prepare our state poultry judging teams.

Around the year students are constantly working with the sheep, whether it's trimming hooves, giving vaccinations, or dealing with lambs, there is always something to do with the sheep.
We have a large variety of pigs breeds on the land lab. They all are very tolerant of the students on the Land Lab. Students learn how to identify the pigs and they learn how to properly handle the pigs without stressing them out. The pigs on the Land Lab a extremely fun to be around, except they can be extremely stinky.     20160420_102047.jpg IMG_2933.JPG
